WHOLETRAIN
D 2006, written and directed by Florian Gaag, with Mike Adler, Florian Renner, Elvas MBarek, and Jacob Matschenz, 89 min., digital projection.
Florian Gaag tells the story of a crew of four writers David, Tino, Elyas und Achim who observe the hierarchies, the values, the rules and the codes of the graffiti scene.
Night after night they make off for the subway stations of the city, intent on leaving opulent images behind.
But as another crew appears on the scene, and the four feel challenged, a creative battle ensues, one that will change the lives of these young people for ever.
WHOLETRAIN is an exciting and emotionally gripping drama, one that explores for the first time the secret universe of the German graffiti scene.
The protagonists exist in a breathless state, suspended somewhere between two worlds: their day to day life, and their existence within the crew.
Florian Gaag manages to recount a tale coloured by tension and aggression.
The result is a many-sided portrait of characters whose world has never been documented in this way before. Their subculture remains authentic and realistic.
Edgy editing and grandiloquent camerawork, a pulsating soundtrack and an excellent ensemble of actors, make WHOLETRAIN a film experience not to be missed.
The soundtrack was written and produced by Florian Gaag, who worked with legendary figures like Hip Hop greats KRS-One, Freddie Foxxx, O.C., Planet Asia, Afu-Ra, Grand Agent, Tame One, Akrobatik and El Da Sensei.
Florain Gaag also managed to convince internationally renowned graffiti artists to work with him, writers such as Neon, Won, Cemnoz, Pure and Ciel, who were responsible for the artwork.
A grandiloquent love affair with the graffiti scene.
A wild and uncompromising film.
A phenomenal debut.
The Director Florian Gaag will be present and available for a Q&A after the screening.
Doors open at 6:30pm, seating is limited and first come - first served.

Sympathy For Delicious and Sundance Film Festival!
Euth and Smog City collaborated on material for the indie film Sympathy For Delicious which is set to premiere at the SunDance Film Festival this year, our artwork will be visible in various club scenes and adorning band members gear. Starring Orlando Bloom, Christopher Thornton, Mark Ruffalo, Juliette Lewis, Laura Linney, Noah Emmerich and Directed by Mark Ruffalo it looks to be a killer at the festival.
Here is a brief synopsis : Recently paralyzed DJ "Delicious" Dean battles the mean streets of Los Angeles, struggling to survive in his wheelchair. Yearning to walk again, and fighting to spark the ashes that were once his career, Dean turns to the dubious world of faith healing and gets much more than he bargained for. Lured by easy money and the heat of fame, Dean sells out to an unstable rock band, stomping the dreams of so many who see him as their only hope. World-famous DJ "Delicious" must now tackle his own worst demonhimselfif he is ever to conquer his handicap and find true healing.
Written by and starring Christopher Thornton in a gripping performance as the fiercely determined deejay, Sympathy for Delicious is a wildly original story. Mark Ruffalo makes an auspicious directorial debut with a gritty, yet fervent, take on the search for meaning amidst tragedy and the redemptive power that is compassion.

Green Day - Official Video
Here is a official video just released by Green Day using my stolen artwork (copy and paste):
East Jesus Nowhere (Official Video)Despite being contacted numerous times they have continued to use my work without my consent and have now released even more promotional material. The video is now available officially at www.GreenDay.com as well. In addition you can check out photos from their world tour and see my artwork used at every show with out any notification, consent or payment.
Green Day 9/26/09
I was recently informed that the band Green Day has been using my artwork for their recent world tour . On 8/25/2009 what appears to be a forty foot tall reproduction of one of my drawings appeared onstage behind the band while they played their set at the Los Angeles Forum. I was never contacted about the use of my material, nor was permission given or sanctioned for the use of my artwork by the band.
It's interesting to note that while the recording industry promotes the rights of their contract artists heavily, and is notorious for vicious attacks and lawsuits on those who infringe on their artists copyrights - they have demonstrated very little concern about the rights of visual artists over the past few years.
You can check out the images stolen by the band in the exterior section of my work, and see it being used here ( T 1:45 ) :
